Murphy, as he is affectionately known, was imported in utero from the UK in 2007 when his dam, Molly arrived.

Murphy's sire is a good black and white stallion owned by the highly respected Gypsy breeder Garry Walker.

Murphy is a real character, always keeping us entertained with his antics. He has the lovely, gentle laid-back nature typical of the Cobs, and is a delight to handle in any situation.

Murphy loves playing in our dams. On hot days he can usually be found half submerged in the water, and loves nothing more than galloping up and down the dam walls playing with his paddock mates.

In November 2010 Murphy’s first foal was born, a beautiful black and white purebred filly. See 2010 Foals – Southern Skye.

Murphy was invited to represent Gypsy Cobs at the NSW APSB Seminar on Presenting Show Ponies in June 2010. It was his first outing and he was on his absolute best behaviour.
