Murphy was imported in utero from the UK in 2007 when his dam, Molly arrived.

Murphy's sire is a good black and white stallion owned by the highly respected Gypsy breeder Garry Walker.

Murphy is a real character, always keeping us entertained with his antics. He has the lovely, gentle laid-back nature typical of the Cobs, and is a delight to handle in any situation.

Murphy loves playing in our dams. On hot days he can usually be found half submerged in the water, and loves nothing more than galloping up and down the dam walls playing with his paddock mates.

After watching his next-door neighbours playing soccer with the horse-ball, Murphy thought "Whatever they can do, I can do better", so we threw him the ball and had hours of laughs watching him showing off.

Murphy has a very easy-going nature and is proving to be easy to train and a quick learner.  He currently lives under paddock conditions with his mates, a 3yo Cleveland Bay Sporthorse gelding and a 5yo Clydesdale-X mare, both of who keep him in line and make sure he learns horse etiquette.
