The Gypsy Cob is a relatively new breed to Australia with only a
few horses throughout the country. They were bred to have a
very gentle temperament and are known for their intelligence and
versatility. They are all-purpose horses, capable of
dressage, jumping, pony club, RDA horses as well as harness.
Our mare, Glenbogyl Park Molly arrived early in 2007.
She quickly settled into her new home and is becoming quite a
character. She loves a cuddle and just hanging
around while we're doing jobs around her yard, she will stand for
hours having a brush and a rub and becomes quite vocal at meal
times! She has a good appetite and is always trying to
convince us that we haven't fed her nearly enough!
Molly was imported in foal to a well-known Gypsy Cob stallion
and we are now proud to announce that Molly gave birth to a
stunning colt named Murphy. We would like to thank Surrey
Springs Gypsy Cobs for their assistance and support in
locating and purchasing Molly for us.
